Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies".
The company therefore relies on an overriding legitimate interest to create website access statistics cost-effectively and easily (Art 6 para 1 lit f General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

It is possible to prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google Remarketing

This website uses Google Remarketing, a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to present interest-based advertisements to visitors of our website. For this purpose, cookies (text files) are stored on your computer by your browser. These enable you to be recognised as a website visitor when you visit websites that belong to Google's advertising network. On these pages, advertisements can then be presented to you that relate to content you previously accessed on other websites you visited. Google does not collect any personal data during this process.
You can also deactivate the installation of cookies by Google Remarketing by making the corresponding settings at www.google.com/settings/ads.

Meta

The company uses a "Facebook pixel" from the social network Meta Platforms, Inc. (formerly "Facebook"). The Facebook pixel allows the behaviour of users to be tracked after clicking on a Facebook advertisement. With the help of the Facebook pixel, the company can track how its advertising measures on Facebook are received and, if necessary, take optimisation measures. The associated data is collected by Facebook and stored via cookies.

If you wish to deactivate cookie storage for Facebook, please change your browser settings. For more information, please use your browser's help menu.
The data collected remains anonymous and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the users. Facebook stores and processes the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy).

Separate information in accordance with Art 21 para 4 GDPR:

Since the processing is based on the company's legitimate interest, the data subject has the right to object in accordance with Art 21 para 1 GDPR. However, this only applies if there are reasons arising from the particular situation. It would not be sufficient if the data subject generally does not want storage and other processing. Rather, they must present personal reasons why the (further) processing of data about them is unreasonable for them - unlike other customers and users. If this is demonstrated, further processing of the personal data is only permitted in two cases:

  * the company demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or
  * the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The data subject also has the right, in accordance with Art 21 para 2 GDPR, to object to the processing of personal data concerning them for the purpose of direct marketing. The data subject can also object only to the processing of individual categories of data concerning them, e.g., the use of their email address for advertising purposes.
